Pune TADA Court | Bhai Thakur, 3 others acquitted in the last TADA case
Pune : Pune TADA Court | Bhai Thakur, Deepak Thakur, Gajanan Patil and Bhaskar Patil have been acquitted in the builder Suresh Dubey murder case, registered under the Terrorist and Destructive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA).
Special Judge Satyanarayan Navandar pronounced the verdict. Earlier, the Supreme Court had sentenced six people to life imprisonment. Dubey was murdered 34 years ago on the railway tracks in Nala Sopara.
The special public prosecutor was Satish Mishra in the matter. Defence lawyers were Adv Sudip Pasbola, Adv Sudhir Shah, Adv Rohan Nahar, Adv Pritesh Kharade, Adv Sachin Patil and Adv Rohit Tulpule. The Late Shrikant Shivade was also the defence lawyer.
