Pune: Rohit Pawar Took Jabs at Ajit Pawar Over Campaigning of Shrirang Barne; Vowed to Take Revenge of Parth Pawar’s Defeat This Time

Pune: For the past few days, Rohit Pawar has not been leaving any opportunity to target Ajit Pawar. In the latest incident, Rohit Pawar made pointed remarks at Ajit Pawar by reminding him of his son’s defeat in the 2019 election by Shrirang Barne. Furthermore, Rohit Pawar also vowed that he would take revenge for his brother’s defeat in this election.

In the previous election, the then Mahayuti’s Maval Loksabha candidate Shrirang Barne defeated Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son Parth Pawar in the Maval Lok Sabha constituency. However, since then, the political situation in the constituency has changed a lot. During the last five years, Shivsena and NCP have split.

In the changed developments, Shrirang Barne joined Shinde’s Shivsena, and the NCP, led by Ajit Pawar, also joined Mahayuti. Therefore, now Ajit Pawar has to campaign for Barne’s candidature in Maval. On this, Rohit Pawar held Ajit Pawar on edge. Rohit Pawar was campaigning for Mahavikas Aaghadi’s Maval’s candidate, Sanjog Waghere.

Rohit Pawar said, “My brother Parth Pawar was defeated by Mahayuti candidate Shrirang Barne in 2019. But yesterday, Parth’s father, Ajit Pawar, himself came to file the nomination papers for Shrirang Barne. First he left the support of the elderly Sharad Pawar, and now he is campaigning for those who defeated his son.”

He added, “Because of his own political settlement, Ajit Dada now faces the situation of campaigning for Shrirang Barne.” Rohit Pawar said that though Parth’s father has changed his stance, Parth should not be worried as his brother would take his defeat’s revenge this time by defeating Shrirang Barne.
