Pune : Pune Crime News | A man raped a woman by promising to facilitate divorce with her husband in one day. Moreover, he did an unnatural act with her 5-year-old child.

The Swargate police booked Prathmesh Chandrakant Sokate, a resident of Baramati. The incident took place from August 3, 2022 and April 2, 2023.

The 35-year-old woman from Hadapsar lodged a complaint at the Swargate police station. According to the police, the complainant and the accused knew each other on the phone. He had promised her to facilitate divorce with her husband. He also promised to marry her and had sex with her at Nataraj Hotel in Swargate. He also took Rs 4 lakh from her on various pretext. Later, he had unnatural sex with her five-year-old son. After learning about this, she approached the police.
