Gang Warfare Escalates: Notorious Gangster Avinash Dhanve Fatally Shot and Stabbed in Pune Vicinity (Video)

Pune: Once again, Pune’s vicinity experienced a cold-blooded gang war, in which a notorious gangster was shot dead by a group of four people and was later stabbed with a machete. This shocking incident took place at Hotel Jagdamba Pure Veg Family Restaurant on the Indapur outer road of the Pune-Solapur National Highway. After receiving the information, Pune police apprehended four people from Shindewadi village on the Pune-Kolhapur highway.

The deceased individual has been identified as Avinash Balu Dhanve. 31-year-old Dhanve was a resident of Charholi Budruk, Vadmukhwadi, and he was a notorious gangster in Charholi, Alandi, and adjacent areas. As per the primary investigation of the police, it was learned that Dhanve’s murder was the result of an ongoing gang war in Pune district.

Yesterday, Dhanve went to dinner at Jagandamba Hotel in Indapur with his accomplices Bunty, alias Pranil Mohan Kakade, Raju Eknath Dhanwade, and Rahul Eknath Dhanwade. After giving the order of food, all four friends were talking to each other. At that time, suddenly, a group of eight people intruded into the hotel with a machete and guns in their hands.

Straight away, these people turned to Dhanve’s dining table and, immediately, fired multiple rounds of bullets into Dhanve’s chest. Subsequently, they stabbed Dhanve with machetes repeatedly. After the assassination, all the perpetrators fled the scene. Dhnave was fatally injured and subsequently lost his life on the spot. In this regard, Dhanve’s wife, Pooja Dhanve, filed a complaint at the Indapur police station.

After learning about the incident, the team of the local crime branch immediately went to the spot and inspected it. They also checked the CCTV footage of the hotel and adjacent areas. In the subsequent search, police learned that the accused had fled towards Kolhapur. Accordingly, the police conducted a technical analysis and arrested four people from the area of Shindewadi village on the Pune-Kolhapur highway.

Accordingly, the Local Crime Branch team has arrested four accused, Shivaji Baburao Bhendekar, Mayur alias Bala Mukesh Patole, Satish alias Sala Upendra Pandey, and Somnath Vishwambhar Bhatte from Shindewadi village on the Pune-Kolhapur highway. The accused are notorious criminals and have been booked by the police for serious crimes like murder, attempted murder, and fighting. The police are further searching for the fugitive accused in the crime.
