Pune: 19-Year-Old Girl Raped Luring Marriage Promise; Bibvewadi Police Booked Indapur Accused

Pune: A startling incident of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old girl by promising her marriage and later cheating on her has been unveiled in Pune’s Bibvewadi area. In this regard, a 19-year-old victim girl filed a police complaint at Bibwewadi police station.

According to the complaint, the accused, Chirag Mukesh Nihalani, a resident of Bhawaninagar in Indapur Taluka, lured a victim girl with a marriage promise and gained her trust. After that, the accused took the victim girl to the lodge in Khadakwasla and maintained sexual relations with her. As he promised the girl about marriage, he repeatedly maintained sexual relations with the girl in his house.

After that, the accused learned that the victim girl had become pregnant. Therefore, the victim girl started asking the accused about marriage. However, the accused told her that he would only marry her if she aborted the child.

Accordingly, the victim then aborted the child. However, shockingly, after that, the accused refused to marry her and fled away. After this, the victim girl filed a complaint against him at Bibvewadi police station. Police promptly registered a case against the accused under IPC 376/2/N, 377, 312, and 328 and started an investigation into the case.
