After the administration declared that the situation is under control, the curfew at the sport has been withdrawn.

D Day for CM: August 1, 2018

August 1 might be the remarkable day in the history of Maharashtra. The community has declared that there will be ‘Jail Bharo Aandolan’ on 1st August. Dhangar community has also declared Protest on the same date. This is going to be a big test of law and order of the Maharashtra state.

Prakash Shendge, leader of Dhangar community while speaking in a press conference said, “Devendra Fadnavis, gave a promise before the elections that Dhangar community will get a reservation as soon as BJP comes in power. But now, it seems that he has forgotten about the promises.”

“Including CM, no one has spoken a single word about Dhangar Reservation. Now the Dhangar community has come together and will protest against the government,” added Shendge.

As the government has failed to fulfil the promises given to Dhangar community, now there are chances that the state will witness two protests from two large communities i.e. Maratha community and Dhangar community.

Maratha Kranti Silent Protest was appreciated throughout the state. The way the Maratha community was putting their demands forward was commendable. More than 58 Silent Marches throughout the state were carried by the community last year. But they only got appreciation and their demands were ignored. In the end, the community decided to go violent and now almost every city in the state has seen violence.
