Woman harassed for opposing husband’s extra marital affairs; three arrested for abetting suicide

Pune :  NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | A woman was tortured for opposing her husband’s extra marital affairs with other women. Later, she committed suicide. The Sahakar Nagar Police have arrested her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law for abetting the suicide. (Pune Crime News)

The arrested have been identified as Bhivaraj Jagannath Tambe, Jagannath Tambe and Shevanta Tambe from Satara. The married woman who committed suicide has been identified as Komal Tambe (22). The incident took place on December 26 in Dhankawadi.

Dadaso Radhu Kharat (52) from Satara has lodged a complaint at Sahakar Nagar Police Station. According to the police, the complainant’s daughter Komal was married to Bhivaraj Tambe. After marriage, Komal came to know that her husband is having extra marital affairs with other women. She asked him to stop it. He asked her to keep quiet or else she would face consequences. Her mother-in-law, father-in-law constantly assaulted Komal mentally and physically. They harassed her by asking her not to live in Pune and stay with them at the village. Tired of this torture, she committed suicide. API Shende is investigating.
