Goon stabs man in Hadapsar area, arrested

Pune :  NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | A gang of goons beat up a man with hockey sticks over a recent fight. They attempted to kill him and threatened to behead him and play football with it. (Pune Crime News)

Vijay Amrit Sonar (20) from Hadapsar lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station. The police have arrested Vinod Bandichchode (24) from Hadapsar. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against his accomplice Sidhu Bandichchode (21) from Hadapsar and two others. The incident took place at 10 pm on Monday at a bridge work site in Kamthe Mala behind Vaibhav Talkies.

According to the police, there was a quarrel between the complainant and the accused four days ago. The complainant and his friends Rahul Mulekar and Sachin Chanchi were passing through the area.The complainant had gone aside to urinate. Vinod Bandichchode and his aides came there. They started beating him. When the complainant’s friends came to rescue him, the goons started beating them too. The complainant was beaten with a hockey stick.

Vinod Bandichchode said, “You could survive the other day, now I will cut off your head and play football with it,” and tried to hit the plaintiff with the sickle on his head. The complainant tried to stop him by avoiding the blow. Bandichchode tried to create terror by swinging the sickle. The police have arrested Vinod Bandichode and PSI Patil is investigating.
