Woman commits suicide as husband suspects her character
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A couple from Yavatmal loved each other and secretly got married. The woman started living in Pune for education. Her husband always suspected her character. He beat her and blocked her phone number. So the woman committed suicide by hanging herself. (Pune Crime News)
The married woman has been identified as Samiksha Mane (22). Rahul Devrao Mane (48) from Yavatmal has lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station. Based on that, the police have registered a case against Avinash Kurewar from Yavatmal. The incident took place on January 8 at Ghunguruwale Chawl in Santosh Nagar, Katraj.
According to the police, Samiksha Mane, the daughter of the complainant, married to Avinash Kurewar without the permission of the complainant. She then started living in Pune with her friend for education. Her husband was living in Yavatmal. Even after marriage, Avinash had been suspicious about his wife. Suspecting that Samiksha talks and hangs out with some other man, he abused her over the phone. He used to beat her. She was tortured and her phone number was blocked. Due to this pressure, Samiksha committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan at her residence. The police have registered a case and Police Sub-Inspector Jadhav is investigating.
