Senior clerk of Shivajinagar court nabbed while accepting Rs 1.5-lakh bribe

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune ACB Trap | A senior clerk of the Shivajinagar court was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 1.5 lakhs out of Rs 2 lacks of the bribe, which he had demanded for helping an accused to get acquitted in the murder case. (Pune ACB Trap)

The name of this senior clerk is Sachin Ashok Dethe (39) from Khed. The action was taken in front of a shop outside Shivajinagar court at 8:15 pm on Thursday. (Pune ACB Trap)

According to the details, a 23-year-old student has filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department (ACB). A case is going on in the Shivajinagar court against his cousin brother. A bribe of Rs 2 lakhs was demanded by Sachin Dethe on November 30 to help through the judge and to facilitate a favourable verdict. The complainant reported this to the ACB. It was verified that Dethe was ready to accept Rs 1.5 lakhs. Later, a trap was laid outside the Shivajinagar court on Thursday night. Dethe was caught while accepting Rs.1.5 lakhs from the complainant. A case has been registered against him in Shivajinagar court. Police Inspector Jyoti Patil is conducting further investigation.
