CP Amitabh Gupta’s 110th MCOCA action till date against Anil Chavan and his 7 accomplices terrorising in Bibwewadi area

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Commissioner of Police CP Amitabh Gupta has ordered an action under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against notorious goon Anil Ramesh Chavan and his accomplices, who are terrorising residents in the Bibwewadi area by establishing a gang and indulging in terror and violence. CP Gupta has taken action under the MCOCA against 110 gangs till date and 47 in the current year.

Gang leader Anil Ramesh Chavan (21) from Bibvewadi, Rahul alias Monty Sunil Kuchekar (20) from Bibvewadi, Kailas Baburao Gaikwad (21) from Kondhwa, Rahul Anil Urkide (21) from Bibvewadi, Chimya alias Prashant Bhausaheb Ghadge (21) from Bibvewadi, Dheeraj Gopi alias Gopal Lamichne alias Lambichhane (22) from Kondhwa, two Minors, wanted accused Rohit Bodre are the names of criminals who have been booked under the MCOCA Act.

Anil Chavan and his accomplices have committed cognizable crimes to establish gang dominance within the Bibwewadi police station limits. The accused have committed serious crimes such as damage to property, attempt to murder, grievous physical harm, disobeying police order, unlawful assembly in Bibvewadi area. Due to this gang, public order was disturbed in the area.

Bibvewadi Police Station Senior Police Inspector Sangita Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikrant Deshmukh proposed to Additional Commissioner of Police Namdev Chavan to take action against Chavan and his gang. Accordingly, the action was ordered against gang leader Chavan and seven of his gang members. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Commissioner of Police of Wanawadi Division Pornima Taware.

The action was taken by Senior Police Inspector Sangita Jadhav, Police Inspector Anita Hivarkar, Assistant Police Inspector Rajkumar Barde, Assistant Police Inspector Vikrant Dige, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Rajkumar Barbole, Station House Officers Daiwat Shedge and Anil Dolse under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, Additional Commissioner of Police Namdev Chavan, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikrant Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner of Police Pornima Taware.
