Self-styled journalist arrested for molesting woman and threatening her
PUNE : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A journalist who resorted to cheating by taking ₹91,000 for procuring school leaving certificates and molested a woman when asked about the money, was arrested by the Loni Kalbhor police. (Pune Crime News)
The accused YouTube channel journalist has been identified as Hanumant Rajkumar Survase (27), a resident of Haveli. A 49-year-old woman from Hinjewadi has lodged a complaint (305/23) at the Loni Kalbhor police station. The incident took place at a school located in Kadamwak vasti on March 21, 2023.
According to the police, the accused is known to the complainant. Survase took ₹91,000 from the woman under the pretext of providing school leaving certificates. However, despite taking money, he did not give her the certificates. She later came to Kadamwak Vasti and asked Survase about the money. Survase abused her and told her that he was a journalist and no one could do anything to him and pushed her aside and molested her. PSI Pramod Hambir is probing the case.
