Maharashtra Day: Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil hoists national flag; Officials and staff honoured with awards

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  – Maharashtra Din In Pune | The national flag was hoisted at the function organised at the police parade ground on the occasion of 63rd foundation day of the state by Higher and Technical Education Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil. Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Pune Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Addl DG (Prisons and Correctional Services) Amitabh Gupta, District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh, CEO of Pune Zilla Parishad Ayush Prasad, and superintendent of Pune Rural Police Ankit Goyal were present.

 

 

The police band played the tune of the state song after the national anthem. A team of police officials saluted the national flag. The team was led by DySP of Pune Rural police Anmol Mittal. Pune City Police, Pimpri Chinchwad Police, SRPF, Pune Traffic Police, Homeguard, Dog Squad Pune, Riot Control Vehicle of Pune Police, Quick Response Team, PMC Fire Brigade and vehicles of Dial 108 service took part in the parade.

 

Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil gave away various prizes. A recommendation letter was given to former DIG (Crime Branch) and addl CP of Pune City police Ranjan Kumar Sharma for CCTNS system given by NCRB, New Delhi. Tikekarwadi Gram Panchayat in Junnar Taluka was presented with Gram Urja Swarajya Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar as a part of National Panchayat Puraskar Week. The DGP Insignia was presented to police officials and staff. Security guards of Pune District Security Organisation were presented with Labour Commissioner awards and Revenue Department Adarsh Talathi Awards were also presented. Appointment letters were given to candidates selected for various divisions.

 

 

The Commandant of SRPF Group 2, Namrata Patil (Chavan), PI (crime) of Samarth police station Pramod Rohidas Waghmare, API Prasad Manik Lonare of Samarth police station, PSI Balu Shankar Pawar of BDDS, ASI Altaf Syed Karim Inamdar of Traffic Branch, ASI Vishnu Kisan Kumkar of Special Branch, ASI Anuradha Subhas Dhumal, ASI Ajit Dhumal, policeman Mahesh Dattu Pawar of Traffic Branch, policeman Gauri Ramdas Bahirat from Police HQ, havaldar Meenaxi Jitendra Mahadik, police naik Dhanshree Vijay Kamthe, havaldar Pravin Vittalrao Ghadge of EoW, policeman Sushil (Sachin) Chandrakant Jadhav of Vimantal police station were honoured with DGP Insignia Award.
