Retired police inspector, other senior citizens duped promising better interest on investment

Pune: A retired police inspector and many other senior citizens have been cheated promising more interest on their investments.

 

The Chatuhshrungi police have booked Mahadev Jadhav, the founder of Rehan Enterprises and other directors of the company.

 

The 61-year-old PI lodged a complaint at the Chatuhshrungi police station in this regard. The incident took place at Teerth Tenco Space in Baner from April 5 till date.

 

According to the police, Jadhav and others set up Rehan Enterprises. The complainant, his wife, his son and many other middle-class and poor senior citizens invested in the company but they neither got any interest nor their capital amount. The company owners also cheated many others.

 

API (Economic offences wing) Todkari is investigating the matter.
