Pune: Four persons hit a youth on his head with a beer bottle. The injured was sitting outside his house to escape from the heat inside.

 

Prasad Pandurang Belhekar (28) lodged a complaint at the Samarth police station in this regard. The police booked Rishabh Deodhar Andekar, resident of Nana Peth, Aditya Amar Ukarande, resident of Nana Peth, Laksha and his friend. The incident took place at 1 am on Monday at the vegetable market in Nana Peth.

 

According to the police, the complainant was sitting outside his home to get relief from the sweltering heat. The accused, who are his acquaintances, came there and asked him in a raised voice why he was sitting outside his house. He should go inside. The complainant told them to mind their own business. This annoyed the accused, who abused him and threw a stone at him. Laksha hit a beer bottle on his head. The complainant suffered a serious injury on the forehead near an eyebrow.
