Pune: Young Man Raped 30-Year-Old Woman Falsifying His Marital Status; Accused Detained by Hadapsar Police

Pune: By concealing his earlier marriage, a 35-year-old young man from Hadapsar maintained physical relations with a girl. The accused sexually assaulted the girl by cajoling her marriage promise. In this regard, Hadapsar police registered a case against the accused and arrested him.

According to the complaint, the accused, Deepak Shankar Gaikwad, a resident of Hadapsar, deceptively lured a 30-year-old woman into his love trap. The accused concealed his earlier marital status and illegally maintained physical relations with the girl, promising her marriage.

This incident took place between September 2022 and February 3, 2024, at the residence of the victim girl. The plaintiff complained that Gaikwad constantly sexually assaulted her, veiling his marriage from her. However, after realising that she had been cheated, the plaintiff rushed to the Hadapsar police station and filed a complaint against Gaikwad.

Acting on her complaint, Hadapsar police swiftly arrested the accused and booked him under IPC 376 and 376/2/N. Hadapsar Police are conducting further investigations.
