Prisoners climb 17 feet tall wall to escape from the prison

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – In a shocking incident 2 prisoners who were taken out of their cell for cooking food has fooled the jailer and ran out of the jail by jumping off the walls of the prison. The jailer for a long time didn’t realise that the prisoner has broken out of the jail. When with the senior officer they searched for them they could find anyone. Sheshrao Sonawane and Ravindra More. This incident took place in Jalgaon Prison.

Deputy Inspector General of Police  Yogesh Desai has visited the prison to look into the matter. Both were in Judicial custody since September 9 under a case registered in Hareshwar Police Station, under section 379, 380 and 457.

They were on Judicial Custody, they both were assigned the duty to make food for the prisoners. Early in the morning around 5.15 AM, Balu Borse and Hiraman Sonawane took them out of their cell to send them to prepare food in the kitchen. In the kitchen, other prisoners were also doing their job. While Balu Borse and Hiraman Sonawane were supervising them.

But Sheshrao and Ravindra somehow managed to escape from the eyes of the supervisors and from the back gate of the kitchen ran towards the wall which was of 17 to 18 feet tall. When the supervisor got to know that the prisoners are not there they tried to search but they could find them thus they informed about the happening to the superior.
