City builder booked under MOFA Act for financial fraud

Pune :  NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime | A case has been registered at the Kondhwa Police Station against a builder from the city and his partners in the construction company under the MOFA Act in connection with a financial cheating case. (Pune Crime)

Rishabh Parasmal Jain and other partners of Balaji Construction I Company have been booked under sections 406, 420 of the IPC, MOFA Act . Mayur Vilas Kothari (32) from Pune lodged a complaint in this regard. The incident happened between January 1, 2015 and January 1, 2018.

Kothari had transferred Rs 19 lakh to the account of Balaji Construction I Company to purchase a flat with all the necessary amenities. Rishabh Parasmal Jain wrote a provisional allotment letter to Kothari on behalf of the company. But Kothari was financially cheated by accepting the amount and not handing over the possession of the flat within the prescribed period. There has been a delay in filing the case as the case was filed on the basis of a complaint application. Lady PSI Shaikh is conducting the further investigation.
