An ITI Executive turns into a Criminal every night snatches women purses

The crime department unit 4 has arrested a man who used to snatch women purses riding on two-wheelers. The officials have confusticated items as well as cash worth Rs 2 lakh 15 thousand. During interrogation, he admitted to seven such criminal acts.

This 20-year-old criminal has been identified as Sunil Sidram Parmagol and is a resident of Chakan Pune. The criminal came into light when a 27-year-old Nilam Yogesh Sonnis lodged a complaint against him at the Sangvi Police station. She is the resident of Dattanagar, Dighi, Pune.

The incident took place on July 26 when Nilam was riding her two-wheeler. As she was passing through the RRT Road, Nashik Phata Sunil and his companion suddenly came from her behind on a two-wheeler and his companion snatched her purse.

This case looked upon by the Crime branch Unit 4 and police constable Rajendra Shete obtained the criminal’s information. The constable also came to know that Sunil is planning his next act in Pune’s Bhosari area. So, the officials laid a trap in the area to catch him. The court has ordered to keep him behind the bars till August 8.

When further interrogated it was revealed that he committed the crimes in the areas of Sangvi, Bhosari, Loni Kalbhor, Chakan. The police also found many different mobile phones, two-wheelers and items as well as cash worth Rs 2 lakh 15 thousand.

He was a very professional and a clever criminal. First, he used to steal two-wheeler and then use it to snatch the purses. After the act is done he would send the two-wheeler to his native place Akkalkot. He repeated this process every time while committing the act.

Sunil is an ITI Executive and works at a company located in Chakan. And he hails from Akkalkot, Solapur. The company name was not revealed for security basis.

The investigation was headed by Additional Commissioner of Police Pradeep Deshpande, Deputy Commissioner of Police Shirish Sardeshpande, Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhanupratap Barge. And looked by the Unit 4 police officials, Police Inspector Brahmanand Naikwadi, Assistant Police Inspectors – Deepali Marle, Ganesh Patil, Sub – Inspector Lokhande, Police Constable – Rajendra Shete, Kailash Bobde, Pramod Lande, Police Naik – Hemant Gaikwad, Santosh Barge, Tanaji Gade, Surendra Adhav, Rajesh Bosre, Sunil Chaudhary, Kiran Corge, Pramod Hiralkar, Swapnil Shende.
