A newly married couple drowned to death while washing clothes

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE –  In a tragic incident a newly married couple has died of drowning in Beed districts, Aashti taluka. The incident took place near Lokhandwadi on Sunday around 3 pm.

Lahun Vilas Salunke(23) and Chaya Lahun Salunke (19) are the names of deceased. The couple came to Aashti taluka to visit their grandparents.  Name of the grandparent are Mohan Gaikwad resident of Lokhandwadi.

Chaya who wanted to help her grandparents, went to the lake to wash clothes. She was accompanied with her husband and a kid.  While washing clothes she fell in the lake. Her husband noticed this and went to rescue her.

Chaya got panic and when she saw her husband she grabbed his hands and hugged him, because of which Lahun also couldn’t keep himself above the water and both drowned to death.

The kid who accompanied the couple to the lake saw this incident. She started crying. People around the kid asked her about the incident and then the crowd called the police.

Chaya and Lahun got married just 6 months back and they loved each other truly. They used to be together all the time. In the end they both left the world together.
