Pune | Haveli police arrest man, seize marijuana worth Rs 17,720 in Khanapur
Pune : NpNews24 Online – The Haveli police arrested a person for illegally selling marijuana at a general store at Khanapur on Friday. Marijuana worth Rs 17,720 was seized from the accused, identified as Vaibhav Vitthal Vanve.
SDPO Bhausaheb Dhole, who was investigating an offence registered at the Haveli police station, came to know that illegal marijuana sale was taking place at a general store in Khanapur.
The police raided the store in the presence of witnesses. They seized cash and marijuana hidden in a cloth bag in 60 small plastic pouches weighing 798 gm.
The action was taken under the guidance of SP (Pune rural) Dr Abhinav Deshmukh, Addl SP Mitesh Ghatte in the presence of SDPO Bhausaheb Dhole. PI Sadashiv Shelar, API Nitin Nam, PSI Pradeep Nande, AA Shinde, police personnel Kolekar, Dhanve and Kale conducted the action.
