Pune Crime News | Chandan Nagar Police arrest absconding criminal externed for murder bid
Pune: Pune Crime News | The Chandan Nagar Police have arrested an absconding criminal externed in an attempt to murder case. He was at large for the past six months.
He has been identified as Sufiyan Shabbir Khan (24), a resident of Khandve Nagar. According to the details, officials and police personnel from the Chandan Nagar Police Station were patrolling within their jurisdiction. Policeman Ganesh Handgar got a tip-off that a suspicious man was spotted on Nagpal road in Chandan Nagar.
The police held him after setting a trap. Khan was absconding for the past six months in the case registered at the Chandan Nagar Police Station. He was also externed.
The action was taken under the guidance of DCP Shashikant Borate, ACP Sanjay Patil, Senior PI Rajendra Landge and PI Jagannath Jankar. PSI Arvind Kumre, PSI Dilip Palve, policemen Suhas Nigade, Sachin Randive, Avinash Sankapl, Shrikant Shende, Shivaji Dhande, Mahesh Nanekar, Namdev Gadadare, Shrikant Kodre, Suraj Jadhav, Shekhar Shinde, Subhash Avhad, Vikas Kadam and Ganesh Handgar participated in the action.
