Minor girl molested in Pimpri, accused arrested
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Pimpri Crime | An incident has been reported from Nehru Nagar in Pimpri where a minor girl who had gone to buy eggs, was molested. The police have arrested the accused. The incident took place on Saturday at 10.15 pm. (Pune Pimpri Crime)
A 25-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Pimpri police station. The police have arrested Atul Matilal Pandure (52), a resident of Udyam Nagar, Pimpri under sections 354, 323, 504 of the IPC and the POCSO Act after registering an FIR against him. The accused was produced in the court and was remanded in judicial custody.
According to the police, the complainant’s daughter and her sister’s daughter were going to a shop to buy eggs. The accused gave Rs 500 to the younger daughter of the complainant and held her hand and misbehaved with her. When the complainant, her brother and son questioned the accused regarding the incident, he abused them and beat them up. PSI Jadhav is investigating the case.
