Pune Crime | FIR filed against two including woman lawyer at Bharati Vidyapeeth police station for not completing transaction and not returning registration amount

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | An agreement was reached with a company to purchase land. For investment, 50 per cent of the amount was sought as registration fee. But after the money was paid, the deal was not completed. However, by not returning the registration amount, a fraud was committed. (Pune Crime)

 

Sudhakar Madhukar Kadam (52), a resident of Sambhajinagar, Ambegaon Budruk, has lodged a complaint with the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. Accordingly, the police have filed an FIR against Deepak Agarwal and his lawyer advocate Manisha Rane.

 

According to the police, the complainant had entered into an agreement with Deepak Agarwal’s Laxmi Finance Limited Invest to sell a construction of 15,600 sq foot for Rs 2,300 per sq foot in the complainant’s village, Bhuinj. Deepak Agarwal sent a copy of the agreement to the complainant.

 

Agarwal told the complainant to pay 50 pc of the three per cent registration fee i.e. Rs 5 lakh 45 thousand 100. The amount was sent to Agarwal’s MDR consultant Advocate Manisha Rane in November 2020 through RTGS. However, Agarwal did not complete the transaction of the building. A case of cheating has been filed as the paid registration fee was not returned. PSI Ghogre is investigating the case.
