Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati Trust | Dhol-Tasha sound to reverberate during Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust immersion procession

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati Trust | Ganeshotsav is being celebrated with gaiety and fervor. The immersion procession will take place on Anant Chaturdashi (Friday). Following the immersion of the idols of five Manache Ganpati, other mandals will immerse theirs. This tradition has been followed for many years. As per the tradition, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust idol will be carried in a chariot at around 8.30-9 am to the Tilak statue near Mandai and the immersion procession will be started. All Manache Ganpati are garlanded and offered a coconut as a sign of auspiciousness. Once all the Ganpati mandals join the procession, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust joins the procession at 11 pm. This tradition started by Bhausaheb Rangari has been preserved for 129 years. The Dhol-Tasha troupes, including Shriram, Nadbrahma, Sarvavadak, Samarth Pratishthan, will be a part of the procession amidst blowing of conch and traditional martial games.
