Pune Crime | CISF jawan, woman colleague posted at Lohegaon airport end life

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | In a sensational incident, two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) colleagues committed suicides in two separate houses in Lohegaon. (Pune Crime)

They have been identified as Asmita Das (30) hailing from Odisha and Sanjay Kumar (30) from Uttar Pradesh. Both were staying at Gurudwara Colony in Lohegaon.

According to the police, Das and Kumar were posted in the CISF. They were deployed as police constables at the city airport. They were staying in two separate houses. A friend of Das called her up on Monday. Since she did not pick up her phone, the friend visited her house. However, Das did not open the door. Then she summoned the police, who broke open the door. They found her hanging.

Similarly, people did not get a response from Kumar’s house. His neighbours reported the matter to the police, who found him hanging. However, it was not known why both hanged themselves at the same time.

Two accidental deaths have been registered at the Airport police station.
