Pune Crime | Pune youth rapes girl after promising marriage; threatens her to make their video viral
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A youth raped a girl many times by promising to marry her after befriending her on Facebook. When she asked him about marriage, he threatened to make their love making videos viral and the Kondhwa police have filed an FIR against the youth. (Pune Crime)
The accused has been identified as Arfaz Arif Shaikh (28), a resident of Chandan Nagar. The incident took place at Koregaon Park, Mohammadwadi and Chandan Nagar at various lodges from 2017 to August 2022.
A 27-year-old girl from Camp has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. According to the police, the complainant and the accused became acquainted on Facebook. Arfaz became close to her by promising marriage. He forcefully had sex with her on multiple occasions at various lodges and recorded the act on his mobile. When the girl asked him about marriage, he told her that he was not interested and threatened to make their video viral. When the girl realised that she had been cheated, she lodged a complaint with the police. API Dagde is investigating the case.
