Pune Crime News | Two women die by suicide in Daund taluka; on International Women’s Day

DAUND : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | On Wednesday, the International Day of Women was celebrated all over the world. The day is celebrated to boost the morale of women. Two incidents of women dying by suicide have been reported from Daund taluka. The incident has created a flutter in the area. (Pune Crime News)

Both the incidents took place in the limits of Yavat police station in Daund Taluka. The deceased have been identified as Yamuna Hanumant Karande and Poonam Balasaheb Tekvade (22), The reason for their suicide is not known.

Yamuna Karande’s body was found in the well of farmer Sayaji Takavne. Hanumant Karande has lodged a complaint at the Yavat police station. He thinks that Yamuna has died by suicide. Yamuna Karande was working as clerk at Nageshwar Vidyalay, Patas and Jail Malhar Vidyalay, Delwadi of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.

The second incident took place in the limits of Kasurdi village. Poonam Tekavade died by suicide by hanging herself with a sari by tying it to an angle. Laxman Bajaba Khenat informed the Yavat police about the incident. Further investigation is being carried out under the guidance of PI Hemant Shedge.
