Pune Crime News | Labourer falls to death at construction site in Warje Malwadi

PUNE: Pune Crime News |  A labourer fell to his death while doing the centring work and the Warje Malwadi police have registered an FIR against the owner of the company and the contractor.

The deceased has been identified as Akhilesh Devta Kumar (20), a resident of Warje. The police have registered an FIR against the owner of the construction firm Gulab Karim Mulani (62) and contractor Mahadev Ganpat Khandare (41). The incident took place at the construction site of Gulab Mulani at Warje Malwadi on Tuesday at 5.30 pm.

According to the police, the construction work was underway at Gulab Mulani’s site at Warje Malwadi. Contractor Khandare had been given the work of centring. No safety equipment and aids were provided to workers carrying out centring work. Hence, Akhilesh Kumar fell to his death. API Babar is probing the case.
