Pune Crime News: Heartbreak Turns Devastating: Pune Woman Molested After Rejecting Marriage Proposal

Pune: NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | In Pune’s Shivajinagar area, a 20-year-old girl was defamed by the accused, sending her private photos to her relatives out of anger over being rejected for a marriage. As per the report, the victim and the accused have known each other for the past couple of years. Meanwhile, the accused, Ravindra Ramulu Page (resident of Sironcha, Gadchiroli), had proposed marriage to the complainant, but she declined the proposal. Subsequently, Page persistently contacted her, insisting on marriage. He issued threats, stating that if she did not agree to marry him, he would prevent her from marrying anyone else.

Appallingly, Page sent the victim’s private photos to her relatives with the intention of defaming her and convincing her to marry. This entire episode took place between October 2023 and November 2023. After that, the complainant filed a formal complaint against the accused at Chatusringi police station.

Taking stringent note of the complainant, the Chatusringi police booked Ravindra Page under Indian Penal Code 354 D, 500, 506 under the guidance of Police Sub-Inspector Anil Kekan.
