PSI suspended for accepting bribe at police station
Sangli : NpNews24 Online – PSI Suspended | Sangli Superintendent of Police Dr Basavaraj Teli has suspended a PSI who was taking a bribe at a police station. The suspended police sub-inspector has been identified as Ramchandra Gosavi.
A case has been registered against Sagar Jagdale from Kargani. Jagdale had given a video of PSI Ramchandra Gosavi to Basavaraj Teli, in which Gosavi was seen to be accepting the bribe. Jagdale had claimed that the complaint registered against him is false and he has requested the police to take action against the false complainants. The video of receiving the bribe from Jagdale at the police station reached the SP. Taking strict action, the SP has suspended the PSI.
