Woman raped at gunpoint in Hadapsar

The Hadapsar police arrested Sanjay Bajirao Bhosale (52) from Haveli. A 39-year-old woman from Ghaziabad lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station. The incident took place on January 5 in the afternoon at the Jayaprakash housing society in Hadapsar.

According to the police, a woman from Ghaziabad had come to Uruli Kanchan for treatment at the naturopathy center due to a spine problem. She needed a rented room to stay as she had to undergo treatment for several days. She enquired with Sanjay Bhosle, who took her to Jayaprakash Society on the pretext of showing a room. He threatened to kill her with a pistol and raped her. He threatened her not to reveal it to anyone.

The Hadapsar Police have arrested him and API Thorbole is investigating.
