Journalist of Pisarve brutally assaulted by notorious criminal and his aides
VALHE : NpNews24 Online – Attack On Journalist In Pune District | A shocking incident has come to light wherein Sandip Bansode, a journalist from Pisarve, was brutally assaulted by a gang of criminals. The police have registered an FIR against a notorious gangster of Saswad and his aides under various sections of the IPC.
According to information given by Saswad police station, on April 7 at 5.15 pm, journalist Sandip Bansode was going on his uncle’s motorcycle from Saswad to Pisarve. Since there are two speed breakers on Ekhatpur-Chaufula road, his uncle reduced the speed of his motorcycle. However, a Scorpio which came from behind, rammed into his motorcycle. When Sandip Bansode questioned the driver and occupants of Scorpio, Bapu Jadhav, a resident of Saswad, and his six or seven aides assaulted them with iron rods.
Sandip Bansode has lodged a complaint at the Saswad police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Bapu Jadhav and his unknown aides under sections 143, 147, 148, 149 and 324, 279, 337 and 427 of the IPC. However, all accused are absconding.
Saswad police station’s PI Annasaheb Gholap is guiding constable LY Mujawar in conducting a probe.
Journalists of Saswad taluka have strongly condemned the assault on journalist Sandip Bansode by notorious criminal Bapu Jadhav and his aides. They have demanded that the accused should be arrested as early as possible and they should be severely punished.
