FDA Assistant Commissioner Desai caught in ACB’s net while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune ACB Trap | The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Assistant Commissioner in Pune was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a bribe of Rs10,000. He has been arrested and a case has been registered at the Chatuhshrungi Police Station. (Pune ACB Trap)
The detained Assistant Commissioner has been identified as Saheb Eknathrao Desai. A 54-year-old person has lodged a complaint with the ACB in this regard. The complainant had applied for a licence to sell lactose through his company. Saheb Desai demanded a bribe of Rs. 10000 to get the licence done.
The ACB team caught him red-handed while accepting the bribe of Rs 10,000. The action was taken under the guidance of SP Amol Tambe and Upper SP Suraj Gurav of the Pune Division of ACB.
