Slow traffic on Expressway near Amrutanjan Bridge

Traffic has always been a major issue in the lives of common people. But, when Ganpati is just 24 hours away of its arrival, Pune-Mumbai Expressway witnessed a long queue of vehicles.

Such traffic congestion was after a container truck developed snag and stopped in the middle of road near Amrutanjan bridge on Wednesday.

The truck going towards Pune broke down around 7 am. Since then the traffic is moving at snail’s pace.

Many devotees of lord Ganesha coming from Mumbai to Pune are stuck in the traffic jam. When, people are eager to get a glimpse of lord Ganesha, such traffic might be a major hindrance to their visit.

Although, police officials said that they are trying to clear the traffic. But, in the coming days of the festival, will the city be able to visit ganpati without experiencing a huge traffic?
