Pune News: Intensity of heat in October will be more this year, predict weather experts

The heat will be more intense this year and the temperature in the morning will be 3 or 4 degrees centigrade more. The temperature in the afternoon will also increase by 2 degrees centigrade, weather expert Manikrao Khule said. (Pune News)
Due to the combined effect of winds in northern Rajasthan and southern Tamil Nadu, for the next three days (October 15 to 17), there will be cloudy weather in Mumbai, Konkan, Khandesh, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Pune, Nagar, Satara, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur. There is a possibility of scanty rainfall in a few areas. From October 18 (Wednesday), the cloudy weather will disappear and the effect of October heat will be felt in the state. The intensity of the October heat will be more severe this year and the temperature in the afternoon is likely to increase by two degrees centigrade and the morning temperature will be more by 3 to 4 degrees. The effect of the October heat will be felt more in Konkan and Marathwada, Khule has predicted.
Weather expert Manikrao Khule said, “The southwest monsoon is stuck at Vengurla in Maharashtra. The monsoon has not retreated fully in the country and we would have to wait for some time before this happens. The northeast monsoon may arrive in Tamil Nadu by October 25. This is a season of hurricanes and information about its effect on the monsoon will be conveyed at the appropriate time.”
