Pune Crime News: Youth repeatedly rapes classmate by threatening her; FIR registered against youth
PUNE: NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A girl studying in a college was raped by her classmate and he threatened her to make the photos of their sexual act viral. The incident has taken place since one and a half year in a campus located at Ambegaon Budruk. An FIR has been registered against the accused. (Pune Crime News)
A 24-year-old girl staying in Hinjewadi lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station on Wednesday. The police have registered an FIR against Vaibhav Bansi Sharmale (24), a resident of Ahmed Nagar district, under sections 376, 376(2)(N) and 506 of the IPC.
According to the police, the accused and the victim are studying in the same college and are friends. The accused called the victim to his flat by telling her that they will work on a project. He asked her to marry him and forcefully established physical relations with her.
The accused took the photographs of their sexual act. He repeatedly raped the girl by threatening to make the photos viral. The complaint states that the accused threatened to kill the victim’s family members. The police are carrying out further investigation.
