Pune Crime News | Youth rapes girl after threatening to make modelling photos viral; Youth hailing from Nashik arrested
PUNE : Pune Crime News | An incident of a girl being raped after being threatened that her modelling photos will be made viral, has come to light. The Chandan Nagar police have arrested a youth.
The accused has been identified as Karan Anna Pagare (25), a resident of Nashik district but presently staying at Wadgaon Sheri. A girl has lodged a complaint at the Chandan Nagar police station.
According to the police, the girl and the accused are known to each other. The girl’s photographs had been taken in Nashik for modelling. Karan stays in Pune at present. Karan raped the girl in a hotel at Wadgaon Sheri after threatening her that her photos will be made viral and sent to her parents.
Later, Karan threatened the girl that he will lodge a complaint against her under the Atrocities Act if she does not have a relationship with her. He also threatened to make her photos viral. When the girl refused to meet him, he sent her photos to her father. The girl lodged a complaint with the police. Now, the accused has been arrested and PSI Kale is probing the case.
