Pune Crime News | Sinhagad Road police arrest absconding accused in MCOCA case from Chiplun

PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Sinhagad Road police have arrested an absconding criminal in a MCOCA case from Chiplun in Ratnagiri district. The criminal was absconding since eight months.

 

The arrested accused has been identified as Suraj Santosh Dhavale (19), a resident of Hingne Khurd. An attempt to murder case is registered against accused Suraj Dhavale and his accomplices at the Sinhagad Road police station. Action had been taken against the accused under MCOCA. The police had arrested Dhavale’s other aides. However, Dhavale was absconding since eight months.

 

 

API Sachin Nikam had received information that Dhavale was hiding in Chiplun in Ratnagiri district and he had informed senior officials. Senior officials had issued orders of taking legal action. A police team had gone to Chiplun and taking the help of local police, had arrested the accused Dhavale. ACP Rajendra Galande is carrying out a probe into the case.
DCP Suhail Sharma and ACP Rajendra Galande guided Sr PI Abhay Mahajan, PI Jayant Rajurkar, API Sachin Nikam, PSI Ganesh Mokashi, ASI Aba Uttekar, policemen Sanjay Shinde, Vikas Pandule, Vikas Bandal, Deva Chavan, Sagar Shedge, Shivaji Kshirsagar, Rahul Olekar, Swapnil Magar, Daksh Patil, Amol Patil, Amit Bodre and Avinash Konde in taking the action.
