Pune Crime News | Man cheats girls of ₹15 lakh by promising them jobs in PMC

PUNE : Pune Crime News | Two girls have been cheated of ₹15 lakh under the guise of jobs in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). An FIR has been registered at the Sinhagad police station and the police are searching for the accused.

 

The accused has been identified as Ashish Chandrakant Tawde, a resident of Karve Nagar. One of the girls, who has been cheated, lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad police station and an FIR has been registered.

 

According to the police, the complainant stays in the Sinhagad Road area. The girl is unemployed and was looking for a job. She got acquainted with Tawde through another person. Tawde, after realising that the girl needed a job, falsely promised her that he would get her a job in the PMC. He also told her that she will have to give money to get a job. The girl introduced another girl to Tawde. He took ₹15 lakh from them by promising to get them jobs in the civic body.

 

The girls realised that Tawde was not giving them jobs despite taking money. One of the girls lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad police station against Tawde. An FIR has been registered against Tawde.
