Pune News | Wagholi Doctors Association Elects New Office Bearers for the Upcoming Year

Pune : Pune News |  The Wagholi Doctors Association recently held its annual general meeting, where the election of new office bearers took place for the upcoming year from 2023 to 2024. Dr. Vinod Satav Patil, the founder of the association, announced that the elections were conducted unanimously, and all 223 members participated in the process.

 

Dr. Bhushan Vidhate from Care Hospital has been elected as the Secretary, while Dr. Machindra Kashid will serve as the Treasurer. Dr. Nitin Pawar has been appointed as the Vice President, and Dr. Bandu Karale and Dr. Hemant Vibhute will serve as Joint Secretaries. Dr. Atul Jadhav has been elected as the Joint Treasurer, and Dr. Rahul Shinde will hold various responsibilities on different committees.

 

The association has also formed several committees to address different aspects of their work. The Social and Cultural Committee includes Dr. Chetan Kolte, Dr. Laxmikant Behele, Dr. Pallavi Mehere, Dr. Vaishali Jaykar, and Dr. Saili Bhujbal. The Sports Committee consists of Dr. Dnyaneshwar Kharat, Dr. Vijayakumar Gutte, Dr. Kapil Jumle, and Dr. Praveen Kakade. Dr. Raghunath Ramkar, Dr. Shankar Vavre, Dr. Chetan Jaykar, and Dr. Deepak Naranvre will be part of the Medicolegal Committee. Lastly, the Women’s Forum will be represented by Dr. Dafia Chinchanikar, Dr. Ghanshree Shinde, Dr. Rucha Kolte, and Dr. Jyoti Jadhav.

 

The Wagholi Doctors Association has been serving the community for twelve years and has grown to 223 members. They actively organize various activities and initiatives such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, health camps, celebrations on Doctors’ Day, sports and cultural events, efforts to identify and report bogus doctors, and recreational trips. The association plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration, professional development, and community engagement among doctors in the Wagholi area.
