HUF India company cheated of Rs 139 crores by managing directors

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime |  An incident has come to light wherein, the managing directors of HUF India Pvt Ltd, have cheated the company of Rs 139 crores. The company is located in Nanekarwadi in Khed taluka. An FIR has been registered against four persons at the Chakan police station. The incident took place from 2010 to May 2020. (Pune Crime)

 

The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar Garg, Nkhil Agarwal, Sandeep Vani and Vishal Tamotiya. Sandip Jagdish Choudhary (45), a resident of Nanekarwadi, Khed has filed a complaint with the Khed police station.

 

According to the police, the accused misused their position and without informing other directors and the head office in Germany i.e. HUF Hulsbeck and Furst GmbH and Co. KG, Belbert and purchase head Sripad Kulkarni, prepared fictitious purchase orders. They took fake invoices from different vendors. They used fake stamps of HUF India and instead of keeping the material in the company’s godown, made false entries and gave the money to the vendors.

 

They also donated money to various NGO under CSR initiative and cheated the company of Rs 139 crores. The accused gave the money to their family members and cheated the company.

 

The Chakan police are investigating the case.
