Corona warriors of Nandurbar police and health department felicitated

However, in today’s modern world, we see that women are working with men on equal terms. She was speaking during the felicitation programme of female corona warriors from the Nandurbar police department and health department.

 

 

The programme was attended by Nandurbar SP PR Patil and his wife Rachna Patil, Addl SP Vijay Pawar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Nandurbar Varsha Fadol, Sub Divisional Police Officer Sachin Hiray, Addl Superintendent Engineer Kothare, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Branch Atmaram Pradhan and officials of Nandurbar police department and officials.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, many programmes had been organised all over the country. On this occasion, women police officials of Nandurbar police department, policewomen, women officials of health department and Asha workers were felicitated for their work during the corona pandemic by Minal Karanwal as per SP PR Patil’s vision.

 

 

“Today, women have made their mark as drivers in MSRTC and US space research agency NASA. Today’s women have become independent and are equally sharing the financial responsibilities along with male members. Married women fulfill their family responsibilities and perform well in their chosen career field. The number of policewomen is also significant. Women are working in various capacities such as constables and senior officers,’’ Karanwal said.

Corona virus had created havoc all over the world. The Centre and the state government had declared a complete lockdown in the country. To prevent the spread of infection, the Centre and the state government had implemented the work from home concept. However, emergency services were excluded from this. Officials of the police department and health department were working continuously to discharge their duties. Officials of these departments were named corona warriors due to their work in the pandemic.

 

 

The corona warriors i.e. officials of the Nandurbar police and health department who overcame coronavirus infection and rejoined their duties, were felicitated. Thirty one officials and policewomen of the Nandurbar police department, 23 health officers and health workers, Asha group leaders, 14 medical officers and health workers from Shahada taluka, 12 medical officers and health workers of Asha group Taloda taluka, 51 women from Asha group Nandurbar district hospital i.e. totally 119 officials and workers were felicitated with certificates and bouquets.
