Major reshuffle in IPC cadre

The much waited top brass official transferred  took place on Monday afternoon and it has been a major reshuffle in the Maharashtra state police department.

As the Pune Police city chief commissioner Rashmi Shukla has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General (Transport), Maharashtra State, Directorate General of Police, Mumbai. And the Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. K. Venkatesham will be the Pune Police Commissioner.

Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale 1987 batch, Thane Police Commissioner Parambir Singh 1988 batch will be posted as Additional Director General (Law and Order). Additional DG (ACB) Vivek Phansalkar 1989 batch will be posted as New Thane Police Commissioner.

Dr. Bhushankumar K Upadhaya, 1989 batch will be posted as New Nagpur police Commissioner who was earlier posted with Prison Department of Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra CID chief Sanjay Kumar will be the new Navi Mumbai police commissioner and on his vacant post Sanjeev kumar Singhal 1993 batch posted as ADG State CID,  Rajnish Sheth 1988 batch will be new additional DG (ACB), Mumbai and Amitabh Gupta- 1993 batch Special ACS Home.
