James Anderson and Stuart Broad were pouring fire on Indian batsmen. Indian opener Murli Vijay who is not in great form was  cleaned bowled by James Anderson.

KL Rahul who was opening the Indian inning in this match as Shikhar Dhawan was rested in this match, was sent back to the dugout by a swinging delivery by James which took the thin edge of his bat and landed in the gloves of wicket keeper Jonny Bairstow.

Once the opener were sent back to the pavilion no batsmen looked comfortable on the pitch and one by one all batmen went to pavilion and Indian innings ended at 107 runs.
