Fourth S Balan Cup T20 League Inter Club cricket 2023 competition: Hedge and Sache and Hemant Patil Cricket Academy enter semi-final

Balan Cup T20 League | In the fourth S Balan Cup T20 League Inter Club cricket 2023 competition which has been organised by the Punit Balan Group, Hedge and Sache and Hemant Patil Cricket Academy defeated their opponents and entered the semi-final round. In the event being held at the Shinde High School ground at Sahakar Nagar, Hedge and Sache team scored a narrow win over Saideep Heroes based on a strong batting performance by Aditya Rawat who scored 67 runs and reached the semi-final. Batting first, Saideep Heroes scored 128 runs. Ayush Vartak (29), Bhargav Patil (25) and Deepak Jaiswal (20) guided the team’s innings.
Hedge and Sache overhauled the score in 19.5 overs and losing nine wickets. Aditya Rawat scored 67 runs and hit seven fours and four sixers. Prasanna Vartak (13 not out) and Shahnawaz Shaikh (12) scored crucial runs in the last overs to take the team home.
Hemant Patil Cricket Academy defeated MES Cricket Club by 13 runs based on all-round performance of Sandip Shinde and registered a sensational victory. Batting first, Hemant Patil Cricket Academy scored 133 runs on the strength of runs scored by Sandip Shinde (40), Rajvardhan Undre (26) and Sachin Rathod (22). Due to the aggressive bowling tactics of Hemant Patil Cricket Academy, the challenge became difficult for the MES team.
On behalf of MES Cricket Club, Yash Chouhan (36), Jai Pande (22) and Prateek Pokharnikar (22) tried their best and put up a resistance but the team was able to score only 120 runs. Sachin Rathod bagged four wickets by giving away 19 runs and Sandip Shinde took three wickets by giving away 18 runs and played an important role in the team’s victory.
