TATA Motors won 'All Stars Cricket Championship'
PUNE : Pune Cricket Tournament | Rotary Satellite Club of Sports City Inspira hosted the ‘All Stars Cricket Championship’ From May 27 to June 4, 2023, at DY Patil Sports Complex in Akurdi. 12 teams comprising Rotary clubs, corporate entities, and passionate sports enthusiasts participated.TATA Motors won the tournament. They were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 55,000, a winner’s trophy, gold medals, and certificates of participation. Dr. Bharat Patil, Chairperson, Rotary Satellite Club of Sports City Inspira, Mukesh Gupta,Convenor, Dr. Siddharth Gaur, Ashish Gawade, Pravin Kudale, Dr. Sultan Rafai were present at prize distribution ceremony held on 4th June 2023.
Total 12 teams were participated.The proceeds from the tournament will be used to provide raincoats and umbrellas to these deserving children, protecting them during the monsoon season.
The primary objective of this fellowship tournament was to raise funds for a noble cause. The organizers aimed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with essential raincoats and umbrellas. Through their unwavering dedication and meticulous planning, the Rotary Satellite Club of Sports City Inspira ensured that this event was both entertaining and impactful.
The tournament commenced with a series of league matches on May 27-28, only the top eight teams advanced to the quarter-finals, held on June 3, 2023.
The semi-finals and finals, held on June 4, witnessed electrifying performances from the remaining teams.
In a thrilling finale, Team TATA Motors emerged victorious, exhibiting exceptional talent and tenacity throughout the tournament. They were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 55,000, a winner’s trophy, gold medals, and certificates of participation. The first and second runners-up were also acknowledged for their remarkable achievements, receiving medals and certificates as well. The tournament’s umpires and commentators were not forgotten, as they were honored with trophies for their invaluable contributions.
