Fourth S Balan Cup T20 League Inter Club cricket 2023 competition: MES Cricket Club enters elimination round

Balan Cup T20 League | In the fourth S Balan Cup T20 League Inter Club cricket 2023 competition which has been organised by the Punit Balan Group, MES Cricket Club defeated Saideep Heroes by 6 wickets on the strength of excellent bowling by Atharv Shinde and entered the elimination round with their third consecutive victory. In the event being held at the Shinde High School ground at Sahakar Nagar, batting first, Saideep Heroes scored 127 runs. Sachin Solanki (36) and Ayush Vartak (30) shaped the tram’s innings. MES team’s Atharva Shinde bagged four wickets by giving away 19 runs. Gourav Joshi (2-19) and Deepak Dangi (2-26) bowled well. MES Cricket Club overhauled the target in 17.5 overs and lost four wickets. Captain Ajit Gavhane scored 38 runs and Advay Sidhaye made 31 runs to take the team to victory.
From A group, Hedge and Sachey, Hemant Patil Cricket Academy and from B group, Manikchand Oxyrich and Nutrilicious, from C group, Punit Balan Group and Pune Police and from D group, MES Cricket club and Saideep Heroes confirmed their place in the quarter final stage of the tournament.
