Development Of Kolhapur | All the issues related to development of Kolhapur will be resolved – Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde

Kolhapur : – Development Of Kolhapur | “The people of Kolhapur are always leading the developmental process and as such all the issues related to the development of Kolhapur district will be resolved. In last 10 to 11 months, the government has given 762 crore rupees for the development of the district. The demand of the residents of Kolhapur for establishing the Kolhapur bench of Mumbai High Court is pending since long and the issue will be taken up with the justice of honorable High Court and we will request them,” said Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde, assuring that he will not take rest unless and until the Panchaganga river is made free from pollution.

The Chief Minister was speaking during the program related to ‘Shasan Aplya Daari’ (Government at your doorsteps) initiative of the state government organized at the Tapovan ground here. Few of the beneficiaries receiving the benefit of various government schemes were given the certificates in representative form on this occasion.

Guardian minister of the district Deepak Kesarkar, higher and technical education Minister Chandrakant Patil, minister of industries Uday Samant, executive president of Maharashtra state planning commission Rajesh Kshirsagar, Vice- president of Maharashtra agricultural Educational Research and training Council MLA Prakash Abitkar, member of Parliament Dhananjay Mahadik, Member of Parliament Dhairyasheel Mane, MP Sanjay Mandalik, MLA Prakash Avade, Bharat Gogavale, Rajendra Patil Yadrawkar, former member of legislative assembly Suresh Halvankar, Chandradeep Narke, special inspector general of Kolhapur range Sunil Fulari, district magistrate Rahul Rekhawar, chief executive officer Sanjay Singh Chauhan and beneficiaries of various schemes were present in large number on this occasion.

Speaking further, Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde said, “Priority is given to the development of Karvir Nivasini Ambabai temple and all efforts are being taken in this direction. Positive decision will be taken for pilgrimage area tourism development under the Bharat Darshan initiative. The administration is working as the Ambassador for giving the benefit of various schemes to the people at the grass root level. ‘Shasan Aplya Daari’ scheme has been started for giving benefits of different schemes under one roof and this is implemented in the entire state. The state government is implementing various novelty and welfare schemes for making the lives of people peaceful, happy and secure. The ‘Lek Laadaki Lakhpati’ scheme for the development of women and girl has been started.”

Mr Shinde further said that Maharashtra is leading in the foreign investment and we are proud of it. He said that one lakh 14 thousand crore of investment has been made in the state. He also said that along with the Namo Shetkari Sanmaan scheme of the union government, the Maharashtra state is giving additional 6000 rupees per month to the farmers, which makes it a total of rupees 12000 per month.

The Chief Minister said that in order to give the compensation to the farmers who had to losses incurred by the unseasonal rain in the state, funds of 1500 crore rupees has been sanction. He said that intensive subsidy of rupees 50 thousand is given to the farmers who are regularly repaying the loan. Mr Shinde also said that under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), the entire facelift of villages is going on, adding that prosperity of the villages and justice to common people is the policy of the state government. He also thanked the central government for making available funds as per the need and demand of Maharashtra state.

Speaking on the occasion guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar said, “There is a huge scope for tourism development in Kolhapur district. A special meeting should be arranged on the topic of tourism development of Kolhapur and funds should be made available”. He further said that all should take efforts to ascertain that the symbol of glory of Chhatrapati starts shining brightly, once again.

Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil said, “Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis had initiated the ‘Shasan Aplya Daari’ initiative in the state and it is being implemented successfully. He said that the benefit of various scheme are directly provided to the beneficiaries and the state government and administration is working with enthusiasm and more speed. He also said that in the last 10 to 11 months the state government has given priority for taking decisions in the interest of common people.”

He further said that more funds are also made available for implementation of different schemes. He said that in the meeting of the cabinet conducted today, decision was taken to raise scholarship to encourage the students of class 5th and 8th and it was also resolved to give rupees 16 thousand as honorarium to the contractual Gram Sevaks.

Minister of industries Uday Samant said that the state government has taken all the decisions which are in the interest of farmers, peasants, laborers, workers and common people. He said that various schemes are implemented in the state so as to provide job opportunities to the youth. He also said that the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) at Kolhapur will be extended in coming six month and added that decision will soon be taken to start MIDC at taluka level.
Uday Samant further said that there are more employment opportunities in small scale industries and as such 15 percent reservation will be given to small scale industries in the development of MIDC. He also said that rupees 100 crore has been sanctioned for the MIDC for making available infrastructure facilities in Kolhapur district.

District magistrate Rekhawar said that benefits of various schemes of the state government are taken to the doorsteps of the beneficiaries through ‘Shasan Aplya Daari’ venture. He said that the target has been set to give benefit to one lakh 58 thousand beneficiaries. The ‘differently abled’ beneficiaries felicitated chief minister Mr Eknath Shinde in this program. Chief executive officer Sanjay Singh Chauhan proposed the vote of thanks.
