Darshana Pawar Murder Case | Darshana Pawar murder case: Accused Handore tried to mislead police while he was absconding, say police

PUNE : Darshana Pawar Murder Case | The Pune police conducted a thorough probe in the Darshana Pawar murder case. Now, many facts are coming to light. After killing his friend Darshana, Rahul Handore made many efforts to ensure that his location was not raced by the police. An officer of the Pune Rural Police has told The Indian Express about Handore’s movements after the crime.

According to the police, the accused Rahul Handore not only made efforts to run away but tried to mislead the people. On June 18, when Darshana’s body was found, Handore left Pune and started travelling by trains. He first sent to Sangli and later to Goa. Handore did not stop in Goa but continued his journey to Chandigarh and Howrah in West Bengal.

Handore made various efforts to mislead the police. He came to Mumbai from Howrah and during his journey, his mobile was switched off. Handore borrowed the phones of others and made calls to his family. During his journey, he used to appeal to people to help him and call up his families. After the police got the number from which he had made calls, they made calls to the number. The passengers gave information about Handore to the police.

Handore not only was absconding but he made efforts to ensure that the police should not trace him. During his travels, he used to ask passengers to give him food. Since he was changing his location frequently, even if the police had sent search parties to look for him, they would not have succeeded. He used to call up his family and immediately change his location, the police said.

After the police came to know that Handore was going to arrive at Andheri railway station in Mumbai, the police arrested him. He was going to come to Pune from Andheri. Meanwhile, the police are trying to find out whether Handore had taken a cutter or blade with him while going for a trek with Darshana.
